QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
What will you do?
• Define and evaluate mechanical concepts, designs, and related optimizations for manufacturing processes.
• Participate in a Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
• Design 3D models and prepare definition files for products and prototypes.
• Lead component design activities with suppliers and the internal assembly team.
• Create 2D drawings with functional dimensions according to design needs.
• Create tolerance stacks and optimize the technical drawings.
• Responsible for detailed documentation for assigned design tasks (BOM, DRW, engineering reports, failure analysis, etc.)
• Communicate with team and external partners (suppliers)
• Manage product definition files in the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) database.
• Perform stress and life analyses, design optimization to meet life targets, failure investigations, and test capability assessment of powertrain and driveline components.
How do we define the perfect match?
• A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required, and having a Master's Degree is a plus.
• While 1-2 years of experience is required
• Excellent fluency in written and spoken English is essential
• Knowledge of technical drawing methods and part production techniques is necessary
• Mechanical Elements knowledge is required.
• Experience 3D CAD program (Creo) is required
• Experience of FEA (Ansys) is required
• Knowledge of GD&T is required
• Knowledge of gear systems and Kisssoft is a plus
• Mechanical Elements knowledge is a plus.
