Our Program Outcomes

  • PC1. Sufficient knowledge of mathematics, the natural sciences, and topics specific to the discipline of mechanical engineering; the ability to apply theoretical and applied knowledge in these fields to solve complex engineering problems.
  • PC2. The ability to identify, define, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems; the ability to select and apply appropriate analysis and modeling methods in mechanical engineering for this purpose.
  • PÇ3. The ability to design a complex system, process, device, or product within the field of mechanical engineering under realistic constraints and conditions to meet specific requirements; the ability to apply modern design methods for this purpose.
  • PÇ4. The ability to develop, select, and use modern techniques and tools necessary for the analysis and solution of complex problems encountered in mechanical engineering applications; the ability to effectively use information technologies.
  • PÇ5. The ability to design experiments, conduct experiments, collect data, analyze results, and interpret findings for the investigation of complex engineering problems or discipline-specific research topics.
  • PÇ6. The ability to work effectively in both discipline-specific and multidisciplinary teams; the ability to work independently.
  • PÇ7. The ability to communicate effectively in Turkish, both orally and in writing; proficiency in at least one foreign language; the ability to write effective reports, understand written reports, prepare design and production reports, deliver effective presentations, and give and receive clear and understandable instructions.
  • PÇ8. Awareness of the necessity of lifelong learning; the ability to access information, follow developments in science and technology, and continuously update one’s knowledge.
  • PÇ9. Acting in accordance with ethical principles; awareness of professional and ethical responsibilities; knowledge of standards used in mechanical engineering applications.
  • PÇ10. Knowledge of real-world business applications such as project management, risk management, and change management; awareness of entrepreneurship and innovation; knowledge of sustainable development.
  • PÇ11. Knowledge of the impacts of mechanical engineering applications on health, the environment, and safety at both universal and societal levels, as well as the challenges facing the field of mechanical engineering today; awareness of the legal implications of mechanical engineering solutions.
