Dear Students,
No courses will be offered in the Mechanical Engineering Department during the 2025–2026 academic year’s Summer School.
To take courses with prerequisites, you must have fulfilled the prerequisite requirements.
Courses that are prerequisites for one another cannot be taken during the same term.
Students in our department who plan to take courses from other universities or different departments must upload their application forms via the link below.
The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, July 10, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
To take courses from other universities, this form must be completed:
Your application must be uploaded to the system via this Google Form at least 10 days before the start date of the summer school at the institution where you will be taking the course.
Students taking courses must add the relevant institution’s course schedule and their applications to the system before summer school courses begin.
Grades for students taking courses at other universities without submitting a summer school application to the department will be considered invalid.
Applications without approved course descriptions will not be accepted. (For courses taken from different departments or universities, approval must be obtained from the course coordinator. Course descriptions that have not been approved will not be accepted.)
The final list of students taking courses from other universities will be published following a decision by the Faculty Board of Administration.
Up to nine credits may be earned during summer school. (YTÜ credits will be used as the basis.)
For students wishing to take core courses with the MAT code, the equivalencies of the courses listed in the link below have been approved by our Mathematics Department.
