1. Regarding the Decision on Internship Application Procedures and Principles

Students who will be completing an internship during the 2025-2026 Summer Semester may submit their internship applications starting on May 21, 2026

2. Regarding the Submission of Internship Applications

Internship applications must be submitted via email to ytu.staj.basvuru@gmail.com. Applications submitted in person to the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering’s Student Internship Social Security Procedures Office or to the departments will not be accepted. The email application format and required documents for the internship application are available at the link below

Important: It is essential that internship applications be submitted from your personal Gmail addresses rather than from university email addresses with the “std” extension.

3. Regarding the Submission of Internship Logbooks

Students must submit their internship logs via email. Internship logs must be submitted within 30 (thirty) days of the internship end date. 4. Regarding the SGK Employment Registration Form

The printed copy of the 4/A SGK Insurance Certificate (SGK Employment Registration Declaration) that the intern must submit to the workplace will not be provided by the Faculty; students must obtain this document through the e-Government portal. Students whose internship applications are approved will be able to obtain the 4/A SGK Insurance Certificate prepared by the Faculty via the e-Government portal 3 (three) days before the start of the internship. Below is a visual guide on how to view the 4/A SGK Insurance Certificate via the e-Government portal. "(The flowchart below was created using the e-Government mobile app.)"
